Ex-Heroes

Ex-Heroes - Peter Clines While I must say that I've had little luck with zombie-based books, Ex-Heroes was surprisingly refreshing. All of the main characters were "heroes", people who had developed superpowers before the zombie outbreak. The heroes read like real people, imperfect and complex. The author's exploration of the possibilities that arise from the interaction of superpowers and zombies is pretty clever for the most part, and despite a couple of confusing parts where there was not enough detail given, this was an enjoyable read and I would read this author's work again.
